RetroSynth Radio is focused on broadcasting synth-based electronic genres such as Synthwave, Synthpop, Cyberpunk, Darksynth, and more. For us to consider your music, it may have a variety of instruments, but it must be include a synthesizer. For artists and labels looking to submit music, please follow these guidelines.
1. Tagged MP3s
- We only accept fully tagged MP3s (320kbps preferred)
- MP3 tags should include the track name, artist, album (if applicable), Artwork should be embedded. MP3s without these tags will be ignored (check out this article)
- Do not send Spotify, Soundcloud, or other streaming links. They cannot be used for airplay
2. Cover Artwork
- Include cover artwork files for your submission(s)
- It’s best to provide a PNG or JPG minimum (square 800x800px minimum)
3. Asset Download Links
- Do not attach MP3 files directly to an email. Large files in emails tend to get rejected by many email systems
- Instead, include the download link to your music assets. We suggest uploading to services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and WeTransfer, and including the download link in the email or contact form
4. Social Media
- Please include the links of your relevant social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, X, are primary). Our presenters will often tag you when including your music on a show
- You are invited to join in the discussion with fans, presenters, and artists on our Discord chat
5. Consent Form
- You must sign our Airplay Consent Form to be eligible for airplay. This give us permissions to broadcast your song(s) on the station and show archives
- You only need to complete the consent form once and can revoke it in writing at any time
6. Send Your Music
- You may submit this information either by using our Contact Form and selecting the “Artist Music Submission” dropdown. Each field is available for you to enter the appropriate information

To Send Your Music
After noting these guidelines, sign our consent form to allow us to play your music submissions.
Then visit our contact form and select the "Artist Music Submission" dropdown.
